Have you bought a Freecom DVB-T USB stick in order to get FREEVIEW channels (in the UK)?

On some versions there could be a MAJOR ERROR in the installation process and the resolution to this is is well hidden as FAQ on the FREECOM WEBSITE at www.freecom.com

During the installation you are asked to type in the SERIAL NUMBER of the 'stick'.

This is to be found on the 'stick' itself but ALSO on the box as S/N.

THIS IS WRONG ! ! ! and will prevent you installing the product.

You need to type in the 'CD-KEY' number which is from the adhesive label which is attached to the white cover of the CD-ROM which comes with the product.

This is 16 digits long (the S/N is only12) and the software WILL now install properly.

( . . and the mini-aerial which is included will more than likely prove to be ineffective.)
